Lost in a Hypermarket

Saturday, July 3rd, 2010

When you are a kid all the things around you seem to be bigger than they are. And a teenager looks like an adult because you are only eight and you have just begun to go to school. You can’t reach the buttons in the elevator for you are too short. And one just starts suffering from this dreaming of getting older and becoming an adult.

It is easy to get lost in a hypermarket or in a simple furniture store New Jersey, running between counters and shelves. And you start crying and calling for your mama, but all in vain. Until a kind shop assistant picks you up asking about your name and where your parents are. And surely you suddenly forget your name. You stare absently at all this modern furniture by Duval Group and it is of no concern to you. You go on crying although you are not a little girl but you are afraid.

The situation comes to an end, your parents are found and you try to calm down sobbing stealthily. You switch your childish mind at once over new impressions but somewhere in the subconsciousness remain the living room furniture. And many long years you will remember your childhood and your fears, laughing at them but wishing to come back to that careless time, when you were a child and when you dreamt about moving and staying there forever!
